Short version: we use your contact details to run your rental — delivery, pickup, and the occasional genuinely useful message. We don't sell your data, and we don't run ads.
What we collect
When you book, we collect your name, email, mobile number, and delivery and pickup addresses — the things a moving-bin company actually needs to bring you bins and take them away. If you catch Scout, we also collect the name, email, and mobile you enter to get your promo code. Payment details go straight to Stripe; we never see your card number.
How we use it
To run your rental: confirm your booking, plan the delivery and pickup, and reach you if plans change. If you ask us for a personalized referral code, we use your contact details to issue it and track it. If you agree to marketing texts when you catch Scout, we'll send the occasional genuinely useful moving tip — never a daily blast. You can opt out of marketing texts any time by replying STOP.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone except the people who need it to run your rental — the delivery driver, and Stripe for payment. The site itself sets no tracking cookies; the payment form (Stripe) may set its own cookies when you pay.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as we need them to run the business and sort out any after-rental questions. Want your contact details removed? Call (888) 615-2699 and we'll take care of it.
Kids
Box Nerds is for grown-ups moving house. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
